Quite minimalistic, this pack displays "pop art" graphic elements which have also inspired our communication since the start. You will easily guess why we named this pack Klass striking over the name: It does bling bling with its gold glazes without taking itself seriously. The taste of the FRED Original has been developped on an American Blend basis, which means a mix of 3 types of tobaccos : Virginia (also called Flue Cured), Burley and Oriental. Virginia tobacco mostly comes from the USA. These leaves have been dried with warm air. Their color is very bright (gold/orange) and their aroma is moslty present into the mouth. As for Fred Mdvanii, Fred Klass contains a slightly higher percentage of Virginia compared to Fred Classiques and Fred Roses. Burley is a darker tobacco with a chocolate color. It is grown mostly in Europe and add a salty and nutty touch into the throat. Oriental leaves are much smaller and very aromatic ; they come from Greece and Turkey. ; they are dried directly under the sun. Their aroma is very sweet and perceived by the nose.

The diameter of the cigarette is slightly bigger than the one of Fred classiques and Fred roses and Fred Klass contains approx. 15% more tobacco. To provide a gentle smoke and make resistance to draw easier than with Fred classiques and Fred roses, we have added 10% expanded stems.
